Enjoy a guided tour of the the newly renovated Patton Center for Marine Science Education which features eight large aquaria and engaging interactive displays, that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the local marine life and the research that is conducted at the University Marine Science Institute and its Mission-Aransas Reserve program.
The guide will then lead you on a journey through the Wetlands Education Center which occupies 3.5 acres between the Marine Science Education Center and the South Jetty. It is a marsh/seagrass pond landscaped and planted with various seagrasses and appropriate coastal vegetation nourished by water from the Aransas Pass Ship Channel.
This tour is held at the UTMSI Patton Center, 855 E. Cotter Avenue, Port Aransas, Texas. Refunds only given if WCF cancels tour or event. Some proceeds from this tour will help benefit the Amos Rehabilitation Keep and other UTMSI projects. Tickets will be in your registration packet... no tickets will be mailed.
